A full programme of events to the Royal Observatory Greenwich. Admission charges apply to planetarium shows, Flamsteed House and Meridian Courtyard, courses, and some events.
Highlights this month include:
- Visit the Observatory after-hours to take part in stargazing workshops.
- Discover the Arabic stories behind popular constellations during a show on the connections between Islam and astronomy.
- Celebrate the Festival of Lights at the Royal Observatory with a planetarium show.
Evening with the Stars: 15, 16, 29, 30 November 2024
The evening will include a planetarium show and then, weather permitting, the fantastic team of astronomers will guide attendees across the night sky using both modern-day telescopes and the 130-year-old Great Equatorial Telescope.

Audio Universe Weekends and holidays
Prepare to be transported inside a special spacecraft to the European Southern Observatory’s Very Large Telescope (VLT) to view the stars in the night sky, before lifting off into space to visit the Earth, Moon, Sun and all the planets of the Solar System.
