9th November 2024 - 2nd January 2025 | Trafalgar Sq, Westminster, London WC2N 5DS

While you sip on hot chocolate or mulled wine, the dulcet tones of carol singers will serenade your festive spirit right by the iconic Trafalgar Square Christmas tree.

Whether you love the hustle and bustle or prefer a quieter experience, this colossal Christmas amusement park and market delivers something for everyone. The impressive spectacle boasts over 100 wooden cabins brimming with exquisite gifts, from handcrafted gems to dazzling jewelry. Here, you can lace up your skates at the UK's largest outdoor ice rink, take in the city from a giant observation wheel, and be enchanted by captivating Winter Wonderland Christmas shows. 

What's more, there's a Bavarian village, an ice bar called Bar Ice, thrilling rides, and a Magical Ice Kingdom that's bound to leave you spellbound. And, of course, Santa Claus himself makes daily appearances at Santaland. While Winter Wonderland can get crowded in the evenings, especially after 4 pm, it's worth the visit for the festive magic it brings to London.

1st November - 26th December | The Queen's Walk, London SE1 8XX

You'll find the Southbank Centre Christmas Market along the River Thames near Waterloo Station, offering a vibrant festive atmosphere with a side of spectacular views of London's iconic landmarks.

While it may be one of the smaller Christmas markets in the city, it packs a punch with its global cuisine and cozy artisan stalls. You can feast on grilled meats, savour some sugary churros and sip on spiced whiskey, all while gazing across the river at Parliament and Big Ben. It's a delightful spot for foodies - especially if you're planning a visit to the London Eye, which is just steps away. This is more than just a market; it's a festive experience with immersive Nutcracker reimaginings, charming igloos, and even fire pits for toasting s'mores!


Leicester Square

Leicester Square Christmas market may be compact, but it makes up for it with its vibrant surroundings and quintessential holiday delights, from traditional sausages to delightful boozy concoctions. Grab a pint at the lively Prahava Beer Tent, where you'll be shoulder to shoulder under Leicester Square's sparkling lights. Don't forget to sip on a spiced festive drink from Amarula and maybe snag a cool Santa hat for yourself. 

But the true star of this show is the Spiegeltent, where you'll be treated to outstanding performances by incredible artists from the fantastic La Clique circus. This is one of our favourite London Christmas events, and it's the perfect way to infuse your holiday season with laughter and entertainment.
