This celebration of the rich and diverse Korean dance scene returns to London’s boldest dance theatre, The Place.
Friday 17th - Saturday 25th June
The unmissable programme includes shows that play with our senses, question the perception of female beauty, and features dancing tongues! PLUS, you can delve in deeper with panel discussions and artist Q&As.
Featuring shows from Jinyeob Cha, Bora Kim, Soo Hyun Hwang and Yun Jung Lee.
To celebrate the fifth edition of A Festival of Korean, The Place is offering 2 tickets to Art Project BORA’s compelling show MUAK on Sat 18 Jun, 7.30pm.
MUAK sees seven performers burst the confines of logic as they dismiss the notion that we watch dance and hear music exclusively. Using physical force, they dismantle a piano on stage creating a live soundtrack through their movements, inviting the audience to see the sounds as a spectator and hear movement as a listener.
Art Project BORA is one of Korea’s most acclaimed contemporary dance companies, don’t miss this rare chance to see them on a London stage!
"totally, overwhelmingly amazing" - Audience reaction for A Festival of Korean Dance 2021
