White Cube announces its programme for the season ahead across London and its global galleries.
In London, highlights include a takeover of White Cube Bermondsey by Theaster Gates in February, followed by the first London retrospective of Richard Hunt. Shows by Alia Ahmad, Anselm Kiefer and Virginia Overton will take place at Mason’s Yard in London.
Alongside Art Basel Hong Kong, White Cube presents Lynne Drexler’s first solo exhibition in Asia, following her current presentation at Mason’s Yard (until 10 January 2025). The Seoul gallery, based in Gangnam-gu, will debut the first solo exhibitions in Korea by Tunji Adeniyi-Jones and Mona Hatoum.
Coinciding with Frieze New York, a solo exhibition of works by New York-based artist Ilana Savdie will take place at 1002 Madison Avenue. In January, the first major solo exhibition of Etel Adnan’s work, following her passing in 2021, opens at White Cube New York. Solo shows by David Altmejd and Christine Ay Tjoe will also take place at the gallery.
White Cube Paris’s exhibition of works by Robert Irwin, marking the final exhibition the artist conceived before his death, will be followed by a solo presentation featuring emerging London-based artist Mary Stephenson.
