Hansel and Gretel:  29 November - 5 January 2025

Returning with a new recipe of music, mayhem and festive magic, this is a delicious treat for everyone this Christmas. Immerse yourself in the enchanting world of Hansel and Gretel, as a new version of The Brothers Grimm’s fairy tale by Poet Laureate Simon Armitage transforms the Globe Theatre with poetry, songs and hope this winter.

A Night in Sign:  8 December 2024

This December, following last year’s sold-out event, BSL-led cabaret, A Night in Sign, returns to the Sam Wanamaker Playhouse for one night only! 

Join us for a festive evening of music, dance, comedy, poetry, spoken word and more, created and performed by some of the UK’s leading and emerging Deaf and Hard of Hearing talent.

The Comedy Store Players: 17 December – 7.00 PM

Also playing in the Globe Theatre this festive season are legendary improv troupe The Comedy Store Players, bringing back their rambunctious brand of improvised sketches, songs and trademark 'Shakespeare playlet'. The Comedy Store Players have been delighting audiences for nearly forty years, but each show is unique and made up on the spot. Expect lightning-quick reactions and world-class spontaneous silliness with songs and games – all in response to suggestions from you, the audience!
