Based on the extraordinary life story of Belarusian Olympic basketball player Katsiaryna Snytsina, this new production traces the stratospheric highs of twenty years on the court and the events that set her on a new path as an activist, political dissident and “extremist lesbian”. Featuring rising star, DJ Blanka Barbara. KS6: Small Forward launches the Olivier Award-nominated company’s 20th anniversary in 2025, a landmark year to celebrate two decades on the world stage challenging dictators and building a movement for democracy, human rights and artistic freedoms.

HighRise Entertainment - Lil.Miss.Lady: 12 – 15 Feb, The Pit (World Premiere)

HighRise Entertainment kick-off their 10th anniversary with Lil.Miss.Lady, a new genre-smashing experience exploring Grime’s history, with plans for nationwide tour. The company return to The Pit following the success of the award-winning The UK Drill Project in 2022. Starring MC Lady Lykez, this part rave, part drama reveals what it takes for a female MC to navigate her way through a heavily male-dominated industry in the early 2000. Lil.Miss.Lady celebrates Grime and its women while holding a bass-fuelled microscope over one of Britain’s biggest sub-cultures.

FuelFest at the Barbican: 10 – 22 Mar, The Pit

Spanning multiple artforms, each of the four fresh pieces from Racheal Ofori, Will Adamsdale, Jay Bernard and Melanie Wilson grapple with a big question of our time.

THE SEAGULL: Barbican Theatre Tue 26 Feb – Sat 5 Apr 2025

Cate Blanchett stars as Arkadina, a celebrated actress whose larger than-life presence dominates both the stage and her personal relationships. Arriving at her family's country estate for the weekend, she finds herself caught up in a storm of conflicting desires. Her playwright son, Konstantin (Kodi Smit-McPhee), struggles to step out of her shadow as he pursues his own artistic ambitions and her lover Trigorin (Tom Burke), becomes the object of affection for the aspiring young actress Nina (Emma Corrin). As their lives entwine and they each grapple with their desires, ambitions, and disappointments, Chekhov's timeless story unfolds in a gripping tale of vanity, power, and the sacrifices made in the name of art.
