Nigel Harman and Cassius Hackforth join the star-studded line-up in the premiere of Drew Gasparini's new musical.
Renowned actor Nigel Harman (Casualty, Downton Abbey, EastEnders) and Cassius Hackforth (Jay Kelly, Netflix) will join an incredible cast for the premiere of WE AREN’T KIDS ANYMORE at London’s Savoy Theatre From Drew Gasparini (Smash; The Karate Kid, Broadway), this new musical is a vibrant and introspective exploration of the universal journey of growing up and the various stages of life we all go through.
They join WhatsOnStage 2025 award-winner Melanie La Barrie (Hadestown; &Juilet), Dylan Mulvaney (Attitude’s Woman of the Year 2023; Forbes 30 Under 30; FAGHAG), Aimie Atkinson (SIX; Pretty Woman), and Jenna Lee-James (Frozen). West End star Jeevan Braich (Starlight Express) makes a special guest appearance, alongside Andrew Kober (Beetlejuice) and Tony Bayliss (We Will Rock You).
The cast also includes Katie Leach and Sally Forster, winners of a nationwide competition (over 1000 submissions!) to discover new talent, with Leach performing at the matinee and Forster at the evening show which is a huge moment to spotlight the next generation of the musical theatre scene.
Told from five unique perspectives spanning age, generation and gender, this uplifting musical explores the complex, universal and often challenging journey of pursuing a dream. Unravelling the rich emotional tapestry of life, WE AREN’T KIDS ANYMORE reminds us that, no matter where we come from, growing up is a series of choices and uncertain steps, punctuated by moments of discovery.
Following the concert performance of We Aren’t Kids Anymore, the second act of the night will see Gasparini in concert, presenting some of the best work from his extensive musical career. Gasparini and the cast will be joined by some special invited guests, to be announced.
