The Oast House

A group of people are sitting at outdoor tables on a sunny plaza surrounded by modern and rustic buildings. Many are conversing and enjoying food or drinks under a clear blue sky. The area has a relaxed and lively atmosphere.

Stepping inside the Oast House is like entering a pub from the imagined good old days, with its rustic wooden floors, tables, chairs and beams, and faux fur set out to sit on so you can sink your teeth into a hearty meal. The menu throws up strong pub grub with big juicy burgers and their classic fish and chips plus katsu fried chicken, an array of loaded fries plus The Oast House’s famous hanging gyros.

Outside in the spacious courtyard there’s live music every weekend, with staff always looking to promote talented up-and-coming artists or add skilled musicians to their roster, with everything from pop, rock, disco and blues to banging live DJ sets. During the Winter months the courtyard is covered over by The Teepee and adorned fire pits, more faux fur and fairy lights, making it one of Manchester’s best (and cosiest) Winter venues.
