Originally established in 1969 by Verity Bargate and Fred Proud, the theatre has evolved from its humble beginnings in New Compton Street to its current home on Dean Street—a former synagogue lovingly redeveloped and opened in March 2000.
With a mission to champion new voices and provoke thought, Soho Theatre offers a diverse lineup that spans theatre, comedy, and cabaret.
