Featuring “irresistible songs” (The Standard) by Elton John and a “terrific” (Time Out) performance from VANESSA WILLIAMS in the iconic role of Miranda Priestly, this new musical based on the blockbuster film and bestselling novel is “a devil of a good time” (Daily Express).

Fresh out of college, aspiring journalist Andy scores a job at the prestigious Runway magazine working for fashion’s most powerful and terrifying icon — editor-in-chief Miranda Priestly. Sacrificing her personal life to meet Miranda’s impossible demands, Andy finds herself seduced by the glamorous world she once despised. How far will she go to succeed... and will it be worth selling her soul to get what she’s always wanted.

Elton John’s irresistible songs are the highlight of this big, bold, metaphorically shoulder-padded musical, which also features a star turn from iconic Vanessa Williams who plays ruthless magazine editor Miranda Priestly. William's is terrific in the role, even more savage than Meryl Streep herself! She delivers the tyrant’s killer lines effortlessly with icy authority and a sultry, jazzy depth that steals every scene.

The tunes, from disco to power pop to Broadway homage, are  belted out by a cast in a glitzy production by director and choreographer Jerry Mitchell that can only be described as a combination of campy glam and high-octane pop.

The Devil Wears Prada’s  greatest strength can be found in its visual design. The Devil Wears Prada so successful because it’s as camp and fun as it is thoughtful and poignant.
