Comedian Michelle Wolf takes thought box podcast to the next level with live streaming expansion.
Renowned comedian and writer Michelle Wolf is bringing her unique blend of wit, sharp commentary, and fearless humour to the podcasting world as she announces a live streaming expansion of her new podcast, Thought Box. The live version of the podcast officially launches on 27th February at 19.00 CET at La Laietana Cultural in Barcelona where Wolf lives.
Thought Box will open itself up to a live audience for the very first time, whilst also live streaming exclusively on the Punch Up platform. Shortly thereafter, the video will be available to watch on demand exclusively on Punch Up and the audio will be made available for download on all major podcast services.
Michelle Wolf's Thought Box - is your podcasting home for unfiltered thoughts and jokes. As someone who never liked podcasts, Michelle keeps Thought Box as close to standup as possible, recording the podcast in front of a live audience so she can perform both topical and non-topical jokes she’s written every week. In this expansion, audiences are now also able to live stream the podcast, so they can watch the jokes succeed or fail from anywhere in the world.
Known for her unapologetic voice and boundary-pushing comedy, Michelle Wolf has earned critical acclaim with her stand-up specials and iconic late-night appearances. Now, in this new podcast, she opens up to listeners like never before, offering an unfiltered take on everything from personal stories and current events to the absurdities of everyday life - this is stand up live you’ve not seen it before.
Michelle Wolf said: “My main goal with this podcast is to bring something fresh and unique to the table—there's literally no one doing it this way. We’re recording in front of a live audience and streaming it, giving people the chance to watch the show live or catch the stream after….So, every week, I’m writing topical jokes, jokes about things that happened to me, and even jokes based on suggestions from listeners. Although it’s a podcast, the aim is for it to feel like you're attending a brand-new stand-up show every single week."
