After you've done enough Halloweens, enough money spent on extravagant costumes worn once or quickly taken off when inconvenienced, after enough disappointments from not receiving the right amount of compliments on your well-thought-out fit, you may be tended to take it the opposite direction.
Here's your chance to not only put in criminally minimal effort, but also to get rewarded for it. UNDR are hosting a worst dressed Halloween party for the waredrobely-challenged.
What constitutes ‘worst dressed’? Here are their ‘guidelines’:
What even is [worst-dressed]? Do your best to look your worst! This concept is all about having fun and getting creative with your outfits. Recreate an iconic bad outfit, show up those weird and wacky Met Gala ensembles, dig out your wardrobe for outdated fashion trends, mix every brand you can find into one fit, or even throw together mad makeup, a bad hair day and clothes that just don't go together. The choice is yours, this theme is what you make it, just have fun with it!
You've heard it folks. Show up looking terrible, and you may win a prize. The real prize, though, is to be, for one night, surrounded by like-minded frumps. Make friends amongst the hoards of bedraggled shabs.
Musicwise, expect a mix of Hip Hop, RnB, Afrobeats, Amapiano and Dancehall, that kind of stuff. Doors open 10pm and last entry is strictly midnight, then the party rages til 3am. Note that this is a 21+ event. Bring your ID.
