Hailed as Saltburn meets Schitt’s Creek,, Rosie Day’s dark comedy premieres at King’s Head Theatre before coming to Windsor in May.
Meet the Hendersons, a happily dysfunctional family, reuniting for their dad’s third (or fourth?) wedding. But nobody expects the death of his bachelorhood to become an actual funeral…It would be a waste of the hotel function room not to repurpose it, right?
Following the West-End run of her critically acclaimed Instructions for a Teenage Armageddon, hailed as Saltburn meets Schitt’s Creek, Rosie Day’s new searingly sharp dark comedy will run at Theatre Royal Windsor following its premiere at King’s Head Theatre on 31 March until 27 April. The play will make its way to Windsor, running a total of six performances from 13 May to 17 May.
Hannah Price directs Amanda Abbington (Sherlock), Rosie Day (Outlander), Andrea Valls, and Jonny Weldon (One Day) with the company completed by Jazz Jenkins, Tom Kanji and Alison Liney.
