One of the jewels in the crown of Japanese electronic music, Soichi Terada now graces the gritty Village Underground following a sell-out show at FOLD.
Cult icon Soichi Terada has been treating UK fans to many shows, after years and years of quiet.
Terada’s work remained relatively obscure for years, until about 2015 when his compilation, Sounds From The Far East, was released, compiled by one of our favourite DJ’s, Hunee.
He has since found himself touring on a regular basis, now coming to Shoreditch's Village Underground, attracting the UK’s lo-fi house audience with his retro-style, Japanese-inspired house.
“A bastion of dance music across the spectrums, Soichi tells a story that traps electronica, eastern mysticism and pop culture through his sonic medium, with his tracks as prevalent at clubs as they are on video games.” - DICE
