Persian Love - at The Jago

21 March 2025 The Jago

Celebrate Persian New Year, or Norouz, at the house-party-esque Jago in Dalston, playing the best music from all across the country, all into the morning.

Selling out events across London and Europe, the organisers of Persian Love now come to The Jago, the venue in London which feels most like a house party.

The Jago, renowned for hosting international music events, from samba to carioca to Afrobeat, now hosts a party for Persian New Year, Norouz, singing in the new year the best way possible; with massive speakers blasting the best Iranian music you've ever heard.

The Iranian know how to party; since music was banned for a few years post-revolution, the country has produced some of the most interesting and vibrant hybrids in modern music, synthesising their proud heritage with the sounds of the West. This weekend at Jago celebrates the best music, old and new, of one of the world's most ancient continuous civilisations.

Going from 9pm til late, with tickets at the now-affordable £15, there isn't a better place to dance in the capital this weekend.
