Discover how traditional Arab navigators used the stars to help them find their way at sea and locate the direction for prayer in Islam. Tickets also include a visit to the historical Observatory and the Meridian Line.

Morning Stars – Advanced Show: 26 May 2025

Morning Stars is a planetarium show designed for anyone who would benefit from a calmer and more relaxed environment viewing the night sky, particularly those with autism.

Morning Stars – Beginners Show:  30 May 2025 

This ‘Beginners’ show is suitable for young children or for anyone who has limited experience with astronomy.

Ted’s Space Adventure: Weekends and Holidays 

Aimed at younger audiences you’ll explore the Solar System with a bear named Ted (and companion Plant), learning about the things we find there and how they affect us.

Audio Universe: Weekends and holidays

Prepare to be transported inside a special spacecraft to the European Southern Observatory’s Very Large Telescope (VLT) to view the stars in the night sky, before lifting off into space to visit the Earth, Moon, Sun and all the planets of the Solar System.

Earth from Space: Daily

A new display at the Peter Harrison Planetarium celebrates Earth’s outstanding natural beauty and creates a vibrant colour-scape centred around our planet through astrophotography, audio-visual and interactive elements.
