This month, come and join our forest school-inspired Friday Froglets sessions with your children. Play in nature, learn new songs and share stories, make nature crafts and finish with quiet time around a fire! Fun for children and adults alike.
Dates: Fridays only; Time:10:15 am (Duration 1 hour); Price: £5 per child.
Wildlife Photography Workshop: 8th March 2025
Join wildlife photographers Victor Sulakvelidze and Marco Scocco for an immersive workshop that blends practical techniques, storytelling, and a deep appreciation for nature. Learn how to handle your camera like a pro, spot and anticipate animal behaviours, and craft captivating visual narratives.
Perfect for beginners and intermediate photographers, this workshop is your chance to develop new skills while exploring the incredible wildlife of London Wetland Centre.
Time: 10.15 (Duration: 5 hours with 1 hour lunch break);
Price: £60; Participants should bring their own camera
Audio Described Tour: 8th March 2025
The tour begins at 10.50am, starting off with the otters as they have their lunch. The route will include visiting World Wetlands, featuring birds from around the world before heading into the immersive Wildside nature reserve..This tour is suitable for blind and visually impaired visitors. The tour is co-delivered by an audio describer and a curator.

Wetland Wellbeing Workshop – Fire Skills: 29th March 2025
Come and learn new skills and enjoy time in nature at our beautiful wetland Centre.
Learn to start a fire with natural materials and a fire flint. Gain some basic tree knowledge which will help you choose materials for your fire. Finish the session with a hot drink using a Kelly Kettle around a fire bowl and toast some bread.
Time: 1:00 pm (Duration: 1 hour)
Price: £5 per person, includes admission to the Centre
