Discover the creative ways international artists have promoted London and its transport network through innovative artistic techniques. Join engaging family-friendly activities where you can explore these methods and experiment with different artistic styles.
Learn how Jewish artists have contributed to the London Transport poster legacy through stories shared by the Jewish Museum London’s Learning team and make posters in the artists’ celebrated styles.
Under-fives can have fun at the ‘Strike a Pose’ workshop as they learn about the human and animal characters from classic poster designs through dance and drama and older children can design their very own poster in the 'Artist’s Studio' and build an artwork of the capital in a creative 'Layers of London' session.
Finally don’t miss the fantastic Global Poster Gallery, showcasing over 100 poster artworks and posters from London Transport Museum’s impressive archive of more than 30,000 posters!
