Explore an exceptional line-up of Modern and Contemporary Art galleries from across the globe from 22-26 January 2025.
The London Art Fair is returning once again to the capital, taking over the Business Design Centre in Islington from 22-26 January 2025. Celebrating its 37th edition over 130 galleries from around the world will present at the Fair, with a spectacular line-up of impressive artwork offering both seasoned and aspiring collectors a diverse presentation of modern and contemporary art. There will also be an inspiring programme of talks, panel discussions and artist insights making this a truly immersive and creative experience.
New exhibitors such as Henry Miller Fine Art, Annka Kultys Gallery, The Tagli, Middlemarch Fine Art, Oriel Fine Art, Narrative Gallery, and Oxford Ceramics will join returning names including Osborne Samuel Gallery, Elizabeth Xi Bauer, The Redfern Gallery, Christopher Kingzett and Galerie Olivier Waltman. The Fair will feature works by some of the world’s most renowned artists across various media, including sculpture, prints, paintings, photography, textiles, and ceramics, by artists including Alberto Giacometti, Pablo Picasso, Francis Bacon, Bridget Riley, and Barbara Hepworth.
For 2025 London Art Fair is delighted to be partnering with the Sainsbury Centre to bring highlights from their world class collection to the Fair, including pieces by Francis Bacon, Alberto Giacometti, Martine Gutierrez, Pablo Picasso, Yinka Shonibare and many more. As the world’s first museum to recognize artworks as living entities, the Sainsbury Centre invites visitors to engage with art in a unique way. At London Art Fair, the museum will present the critically acclaimed Living Art experience, encouraging visitors to step inside an exhibition case and become an artwork themselves. This will be an example of how the Sainsbury Centre animates visitors to encounter the works not as inanimate objects, but as they would another person, prompting a reconsideration of their relationship with art.
London Art Fair is also pleased to announce that its official destination sponsor, Visit Tampa Bay, will be commissioning a site specific multi-sensory installation piece by artist Ya La’ford to be exhibited at the Fair. The installation is an evocative exploration of Florida's beauty Entitled "Ebb and Flow: The Circle of Connection."
The Fair’s annual curated section Platform will be curated by independent curator, facilitator, and cultural consultant Becca Pelly-Fry, whose work stands at the intersection of contemporary art, healing practices and ecology. The section, entitled Today for you, tomorrow for me, will attempt to re-wild visitors’ imaginations, returning them to a more reciprocal relationship with nature. And Encounters will showcase the freshest contemporary art from across the globe featuring young, up and coming galleries eager to present their emerging artists on a major platform.
This year’s Fair will also see the return of London Art Fair’s Prints and Editions section, which launched at the 2024 edition to great success. All levels of collectors will be catered for, from those new to print collecting to connoisseurs of the medium, with featured artists ranging from emerging printmakers to household names.
There's so much to discover this year at the London Art Fair, an unmissable exhibition to kick start the art world calendar.
