Two of the city's most sought-after DJ's going back to back with each other all night? At the labyrinthine Night Tales? It's gonna be a ruckus to remember.
If you wanted to party non-stop but fully avoid the Halloween season (maybe you don't have a costume, maybe you think you're too cool for it, whatever), then this will be your required stop off. Night Tales has become one of our favourite venues for its interior decoration, numerous rooms, corridors, and chill-out areas, and for the quality of acts that are regularly on display. And, for the most part, entry is free!
Of course, you gotta pay for access to the main room to see the headliners. But these start at £5 for this event (if you make it in time for their flash sale!). Regardless, £15 for anytime entry for a night like this in a city like London, is now concretely classified as ‘good value’.
Harrison BDP is an absolutely huge name in dance, and has been for years. His tune ‘Decompression’ has become a modern deep house classic, featuring typically on sunrise sets or deep-in-the-rabbit-hole mixes at 5am. Black Loops of Toy Tonics fame is similarly huge, his tune ‘Sex’ being his signature, a highly rigid yet wonderfully melodic house tune that usually appears at the other end of the night, to get the dance warmed up.
The two compliment each other so perfectly is a joke. Expect a strong mix of melodic and heart-felt house, but also rigid, bass-heavy, blood-rocking dance tunes to keep you going til 3am. You know it's gonna be silly.
