Big beat masters and Sultans of Disco Groove Armada take to the best club in London, for a night they themselves are curating. Doesn’t get better than this.
Few are more well known in dance than Groove Armada. Even people who think they’re too cool for dance know who Groove Armada is. We all know tunes like ‘Superstylin’’, ‘At The River’ and so on, we’re all familiar with the name, that now looms so large it feels impossible to ever get a chance to see them. And when we do, it’s usually at eye-boggling far-away festival sets or similarly distant arenas.
So how lucky are we then, that not only do we get to see Groove Armada play in London – only their 3rd set in the city this year (???) – but play in the underground and industrial fabric, London’s greatest club. This is an easy sell, but I’m going to sell you more.
Groove Armada are not only dropping a set, but have curated the entire rest of the night, dubbed ‘Groove Armada invites’, with a line-up including Marcellus Pittman, Grace Sands, and Adam Curtain, with more in tow. And not only are they dropping one set, but three sets, across three separate rooms. Look forward to seeing them rush about with a USB in one hand and a pint in the other.
And even more enticing…since it’s fabric, the celebrations carry on til 6am. Bring your shiny helmet and your kinky boots, cos they’re prepared to rain down the heat and have you wade through thick layers of bass. Good luck kids!
