Urban legend has it that Baitface steals the faces and lives of Black Boys. All it takes is walking underneath a pair of trainers suspended on a telephone wire, face uncovered.   

The play follows three friends, Khaleem, Joy and Kai, who are just trying to get through school. On the night of an alleged crime, Baitface the Gullyman rears its head and the arrival of Baitface throws the boys’ lives, identities and friendships into peril. 

is directed by Monique Touko (School Girls; Or, the African Mean Girls Play). Writer Tife Kusoro was the recipient of the Lynne Gagliano Award in 2020 and the George Devine Award in 2023.

Cast includes: Selorm Adonu (Brother’s Keeper)Kadiesha Belgrave (Grud)Ebenezer Gyau (Dear England) and Dani Harris-Walters (Happy Father’s Day).
