Frieze London and Frieze Masters, regarded as two of the most influential art fairs in the world, return to Regent’s Park from the 9th to the 13th of October.

Founded in 2003 by Amanda Sharpe and Matthew Slotover of Frieze magazine, the fair is widely regarded as one of the world’s most influential contemporary art fairs, showcasing contemporary and historical works from over 160 galleries from around the world.

Both fairs will emphasize artists and discovery, and d ground-breaking new floorplan has been designed to give greater prominence to the fair’s curated sections, including Artist-to-Artist and this year’s themed section, Smoke. Artist-to-Artist features six solo presentations selected by world-renowned artists Hurvin Anderson, Lubaina Himid, Rashid Johnson, Glenn Ligon, Zineb Sedira and Yinka Shonibare, while Smoke will bring together international artists to present ceramics as one of the most impactful aesthetic forms in contemporary art. Focus, presented in collaboration with Stone Island, continues Freize’s commitment to showcasing the best in new and developing gallery spaces in London.

Frieze Masters sees the debut of a more artist-centered approach with an expanded Studio section and a refined floor plan to encourage visitors to draw connections between objects and works from different times and places.

The fair also includes talks, lectures, discussions, and an award ceremony, plus; also coinciding with these fairs is Frieze Sculpture, from 18th September until 27th October, with works by 22 leading artists displayed in Regent’s Park’s beautiful English Gardens.
