One of the best parties in London is back in South East London for another night of shelling out the big Northern Soul Classics
Bringing the classics of Northern Soul to the new generation, Deptford Northern Soul Club are now the face of the movement in London. Childhood friends Will Foot and Lewis Henderson, whose precocious love of soul developed after discovering Lewis’ Dad’s record collection, have now taken said record collection all around the country, even to Glastonbury.
After a busy summer, including a huge show at Moth Club, they now take to the Goldsmiths' Student Union for a more intimate affair, perhaps an atmosphere where a Northern Soul night is beautifully suited. Don't worry elders, you don't need to be a student to be let in.
Expect a mix of obvious NS classics, as well as deeper cuts that only those around at the time would know. Suitable for all generations of soul lovers.
