Titans of reggae and dub culture return to the familiar Village Underground, bringing their iconic and ear-blasting sound system with them.
Kicking it since 1979, touring the world, playing outdoor festivals, carnivals, day raves, all night raves, bringing their huge sound system just about everywhere, playing bass-heavy reggae to bass-heads going back to when Moses still wore short pants.
They've been all around the UK last year, playing an excellent set at the Bowl at We Out Here, where afterwards they went to the record shop to meet fans and sign records for fans. Two weekends after they played all day Sunday at Notting Hill, being consistently the most packed street at the Carnival. The interest in old school reggae is far from dead.
One of the oldest sound system crews in the country deserves a proper venue: Village Underground, ideal for its industrial feel, sharp acoustics, and limited capacity, will be a more than ideal spot for such a celebration. Get ready and maybe bring your earplugs actually. No one could disturb this peaceful riot.
