Colour Factory is generously hosting daytime family dance, giving the little ones a chance to wear their dancing shoes for the first time.
Colour Factory, usually known for their all-night parties, disgracefully loud sound system, and for their calibre of guests that pass through their doors, is now taking it down a good couple notches to entertain the family. From 2 til 4pm (probably about as long as kids can go in one area without getting bored), the Hackney Wick staple is opening their doors to families and kids of all ages, for a wholesome daytime rave in their colourful chamber.
DJ Mark XTC is providing selector duties, Doxa Faces will be on face painting duties all day, and the kids can get their craft on at the Nitty Natty Craft tables. An outdoor terrace to give the baby ravers a wee break, and a dancefloor complete with foam, bubbles, balloons and a giant parachute finale. I wonder if they let non-parenting adults in.
