If sitting round a fire pit while toasting marshmallows and sipping cocktails tickles your fancy, then the Midnight Apothecary is for you. This hidden wonder was once a neglected rooftop garden above Brunel’s Thames Tunnel Museum. Now transformed into a community potager garden with vegetables, herbs and flowers, the garden hosts the Midnight Apothecary all year round, which specialises in preparing botanical cocktails - the locally-sourced food and drink menus change with the seasons, using ingredients grown in the garden.
The Midnight Apothecary is open for campfire cocktails on Friday and Saturday evenings from 19th April up until the end of October, and visitors can book either an early evening slot (from 5-7.15pm) or a late evening slot (from 7.30-10pm). Tickets includes admission to the roof garden, with the opportunity to explore Brunel's cavernous underground Grand Entrance Hall beneath.
