Victoria Park

A traditional Asian-style pavilion with a multi-tiered roof is situated among lush greenery by the edge of a calm lake. Tall trees surround the structure, and the sky above is partly cloudy with blue patches. The pavilion is reflected in the water.

Victoria Park's lush landscapes feature a variety of gardens. Stroll through the Old English Garden with its neat lawns, trimmed hedges, and roses; wander into the Floral Sunken Garden, where tiered flower beds bloom in an array of colours, or visit the Outdoor Classroom, which boasts raised beds brimming with plants, vegetables, and herbs – perfect for workshops and talks. Orchard Meadows, a haven for birds and insects, is teeming with wildflowers and fruit trees, while the Burdett-Coutts Fountain Garden enchants with its four mirror pools reflecting the Grade II-listed fountain.

Kids can run wild in two dedicated play areas, or you can hire a pedalo for a serene paddle on the lake. The East Park, equally charming, houses the Adventure Playground, Splash Pool, and Anglers' Lake, where fishing enthusiasts can find bream, carp, and perch. The Burdett-Coutts Fountain stands proudly here, a Victorian marvel originally designed to provide clean drinking water to London's poor. So, whether you're into sports, history, or just enjoying a lazy afternoon in the sun, Victoria Park is the perfect spot to unwind and soak up some East London charm.

If you're a fan of festivals, Victoria Park has you covered, hosting popular events like the All Points East festival, which draws music lovers from all over.
