As the weather cools, we naturally draw indoors; whether or not you're a practising Christian, you do have to admit that certain churches and cathedrals are magnificent and awe-inspiring places, architectural marvels steeped in culture and history. There are definitely worse places to seek comfort and warmth, and Bristol is home to several impressive churches and cathedrals that span different eras and communities in the historic city.
