Discover a fantastical world of Myths and Legends at Bristol Zoo Project this Halloween (25 Oct – 3 Nov). Follow the Myths and Legends trail around the zoo to discover fun animal myths and your animal personality – are you a free spirit like a wolf or cheeky like a wolverine?
Tiptoe through the lemur walkthrough and watch out for the spirited lemurs – will they cross your path or swing above your head? Spot real wolves and enjoy fascinating myth-busting talks led by our animal experts.
The return of our popular interactive biofacts experience, in the Lodge of Legends, gives you the chance to see and touch real animal artefacts, from skulls to skins, and learn all about animals and their connection to mythical creatures! Step inside the Cauldron of Creation where a ‘trick and treat’ surprise awaits! Will you dare to reach inside the mystery box? Plus, join in our fun art activities where you can create your very own mythical beast!
Howl-oween Art Special!
Join us on 31 October for a spook-tacular art session led by the creative team at Let’s Make Art! Create your very own ceramic tile – will it be a bird, mammal, insect or your own mythical creature? During the session we will explore what endangered means and how art can be used as an important tool to illustrate ideas and notions. The sessions are free for visitors. Drop in anytime between 11am – 2pm.
Don't forget to dress up as your favourite mythical character, or Halloween favourite – kids in fancy dress get 50% off! And remember to strike your scariest pose amongst the colourful pumpkin patch for an epic photo!
