16-17 Market St, Brighton BN1 1HH

The first of the chain to be opened outside of London in 2015, Brighton’s Breakfast Club is as far from your usual greasy spoon as it gets – offering a retro, art deco inspired slice of Miami by the seaside.

The classic English breakfast staples with eggs cooked every which way, reside alongside fluffy American pancakes or Latin inspired Heuvos Rancheros; or why not try one of their specials, breakfast sandwiches or burritos.

Boozy brunches are available at weekends and a calendar of community based events where the team join in, including some for the older LGBTQ+ crowd.

For a welcoming breakfast and lots of menu choice, this venue is a must!  Open Mon -Fri 8am – 3pm; Sat/Sun – 8am – 5pm.

Nestling in a cosy Grade II listed building, spanning three floors, this breakfast favourite can be found in the heart of the Brighton Lanes and has a cool, community vibe as well as seriously good food and coffee.

The Hearty Garden Plate (a veggie take on a full English) is just one of the tasty dishes on offer, together with a classic avocado and smoked salmon smash, the exotic Turkish Eggs or the iconic Coho breakfast.

Everything is locally sourced and cooked to perfection.

Café Coho is open Mon – Sun from 7am – 6.30pm.

Oeuf

A well-lit brunch setting by a window showcases a table with pancakes topped with berries and cream, a burger, a cocktail garnished with a flower, a coffee cup, and plates of savory dishes. The table is decorated with vases of dried and fresh flowers.

8, Third Avenue, Hove BN3 2PX

Oeuf is an absolute gem of a breakfast venue on the edge of Brighton centre in Hove, both in terms of the incredible food on offer and the opulent but cosy setting.

Enjoy a candle lit breakfast in stunning surroundings or in the pretty garden area.  Food and drink are sourced locally, with an emphasis on everything being as sustainable as possible – their coffee is even delivered by bicycle!

A must try are their speciality Frumpets: three French toast battered crumpets with sweet or savoury toppings; alternatively, enjoy something equally different such as crab on sour dough with poached egg.

All the breakfast favourites are also on offer including pancakes, granola and oeufs (eggs) every which way from Florentine to ‘Troyal’ (with smoked trout).

Oeuf is open Mon – Sun, 9am -4pm

Lost in the Lanes

Lost in the Lanes

10 Nile Street, Brighton BN1 1HW

Opened in 2017, this chef led day time café is a breakfast destination location, which prides itself on quality, local and seasonal ingredients.  Their eggs are sourced from a named, local farm and are free range and organic eggs with local butchers supplying all the meat. Coffee is provided by a nearby, Lewes based roaster.

Breakfast choices span a variety of vegan and veggie options going right through to the traditional non veggie ‘butcher’s breakfast’.  For the more cosmopolitan palate, try ‘Nduja Eggs’ served with samphire and garlic yoghurt or smoky beans on sourdough toast with crispy onions.

Lost in the Lanes is open every day 9am -12pm for break; all day breakfast is served from 9am – 3pm at weekends.
