The iconic On The Beach music festival returns to the world-famous Brighton Beach off Madeira Drive A unique location within easy walking distance of Brighton city centre, public transport connections and hotels. Spread over two weekends in July, the seafront festival provides an experience different from others offering a variety of music genres. Whether you’re into electronic, indie, rock or alternative, there's guaranteed to be something for everyone.
On The Beach Festival History
Having debuted in 2021 ‘On The Beach’ is now entering its fifth year on the south coast. With a programme of sold out shows that spans from Fatboy Slim, Chase & Status, Above & Beyond, Bicep, Underworld, and Carl Cox to Royal Blood, Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds, The Libertines and The Kooks. On The Beach is already having a huge impact on the UK’s festival circuit with over 10,000 people attending in 2024.
On The Beach Festival 2025
Friday 18 July Bonobo, aka Brighton-based DJ and musician Simon Green who is set to perform his OUTLIER series. His music often being compared to the works of DJ Shadow and Mr Scruff.
Saturday 19 July Eric Prydz will perform, the International DJ and producer from Sweden, most famously known as the the man responsible for the European dance smash ‘Call On Me’.
Sunday 20 July Bloc Party will showcase their all-time greatest hits, supported by Everything Everything, English Teacher, Mystery Jets, Liz Lawrence, and FEET.
On Friday 25 July Inja, Hybrid Minds, BassLayerz, Hedex, Kings Of The Rollers, Kanine, Born On Road and K Motionz will be performing.
The legendary Carl Cox returns on Saturday 26 July.
Sunday 27th July the amazing Kaiser Chiefs will be closing the final weekend playing their “Employment” album in full alongside all their greatest hits. Also playing will be The Cribs, Razorlight, The Hoosiers, Master Peace and Westside Cowboy.

The event is held on the pebbles of Brighton Beach. There are Accessible Toilets; A Wheelchair Viewing Platform; Large print menus at the bars and dedicated Access Support Team onsite. Assistance dogs are welcome onsite.
