The Love Supreme Jazz Festival is the largest outdoor jazz festival in Europe. Founded by record executive Ciro Romano and held over 3 days on the first weekend of July, Love Supreme hosts a world-class line up of jazz, R&B, funk, soul and more. The festival’s home is the stunning grounds of Glynde Place in the iconic South Downs of East Sussex – one of the UKs most beautiful National Parks. Widely regarded as a highlight of the summer festival calendar by artists and audiences alike, the festival attracts global superstars, jazz legends and the best new artists from the world of jazz, soul and R&B.

Festival History

The inaugural festival was held in July 2013. Since then, it has hosted a dazzling array of artists from the world of jazz, soul and R&B including Lauryn Hill, Herbie Hancock, Earth Wind & Fire, George Benson, Nile Rodgers, Van Morrison, Grace Jones, Gladys Knight, Jamie Cullum, Steve Winwood, Gregory Porter, Laura Mvula, Bryan Ferry, Stanley Clarke, Chaka Khan, Robert Glasper, Snarky Puppy and many others. It was also the first full weekend camping jazz festival in the UK that also welcomed day and weekend visitors. The festival is approximately 20 minutes from Brighton and just over an hour from central London by train or by car. Glynde village also has a train station a just few minutes walk from the site.

This years festival takes place on Friday 4th July to Sunday 6th July with musical phenomenon Jacob Collier confirmed as the festival's Saturday headliner. Also joining this year’s line-up, which already features the likes of Maxwell, Smokey Robinson, En Vogue, Sampa The Great, Thee Sacred Souls, War, amongst many others, are pioneering US vocalist José James, Brazilian icon Marcos Valle, legendary Cuban pianist Chucho Valdés.
