Nestled in the heart of Canterbury since 1987, The Canterbury Tales is the second oldest attraction in Canterbury (after the cathedral!) and a truly immersive experience. Our offer includes an interactive tour through Chaucer's tales, truly bringing the characters to life. It promises to be a wonderful day out for the whole family, where kids can learn about Chaucer, otherwise known as 'the Father of English Literature', and his medieval misadventures in a fun and engaging way.
The Canterbury Tales team will also be exploring the magic of patterns this May half term with a variety of activities in the Medieval Story Garden. Have your hair beautifully braided, marvel at the magic patterns in kaleidoscopes, try your hand at maypole dancing and enjoy a demonstration of Astrolabes, ancient instruments for determining time and the position of stars, which Chaucer himself was fascinated with.
Win a family ticket to the attraction at The Canterbury Tales between 27 May and 4 June plus free entry to the 'Magical Patterns' event in their Medieval Story Garden. See their website for more information.
